After School Club: Part 1 - 3D Design with Tinkercad

By TPL Kids

Dive into the exciting world of 3D design with Tinkercad, a free browser-based program where "If you can dream it, you can build it." Learn how to turn simple 3D shapes into fun designs, and learn how to import and export your creations for 3D printing. This is Part 1 of a two-part series.

A free Tinkercad account is required. Creating the account prior to the program is recommended. Using two devices (a cell phone, tablet or computer with a mouse) is also recommended for this program. This will allow participants to view the instructor and follow along with activities.

This online program is suitable for children 6-12 years old. Younger children may require assistance from caregivers. It is recommended that parents or caregivers are present during this live program. Questions about online programs? Please email us at [email protected].

Toronto Public Library is committed to accessibility. Please call or email us if you are Deaf or have a disability and would like to request accommodation to participate in this program. Please let us know as far in advance as possible and we will do our best to meet your request. At least three weeks’ notice is preferred. Phone 416-393-7099 or email [email protected].
