Building applications with the Futura Elettronica Demoboard for ESP32 and the Arduino Cloud

By Arduino

Arduino Cloud is Arduino’s integrated cloud platform to develop, deploy and manage IoT devices in an easy way. It enables makers, IoT enthusiasts and professionals to build easily connected projects based on a wide range of Arduino, ESP32 and ESP8266 boards.
The Demoboard for ESP32 is the ideal solution for those who want to learn how to use Esp32 with a single platform, compatible with different modules and in which the hardware connections are already made, but it is also an excellent test platform for creating smart and IoT projects that allows us to test different sensors and simulate the final project, all without having to use cables or different breadboards.
The Demoboard for ESP32 has been designed to be able to use different types of modules: air quality sensor, lightning sensor, gesture, UVB sensor, pressure sensor, NFC/RFID reader, 0.96″ OLED display, turbidity sensor, PIR sensor, servo and many others.
In this webinar, you will
  • learn what the Arduino Cloud can offer
  • discover the new Futura Demoboard for ESP32
  • learn how to connect the Futura Demoboard for ESP32 with the Arduino Cloud and create new applications
  • learn how to create a dashboard to monitor and control your application
  • find insightful ideas for your new projects
All of the above will be shown with the help of two demos:
  • In the first one, we will demonstrate the basics of input/output. We will control a fan via a relay and the classic onboard LED, and we will manage the angle of the servo motor. Finally we will have as input the reading of a PIR sensor which on the dashboard is represented by a status indicator.
In the second one, we will create a small weather monitoring system for smart homes. We will read some sensors using the Demoboard for ESP32 and will build a dashboard in the Arduino IoT Cloud to monitor the data.
