About Ross Koenigs:

Ross Koenigs is the Brewing Innovations Specialist for New Belgium Brewing Company. Ross brings fifteen years of Brewing Industry experience and has developed a wide range of expertise throughout his career. He spends most of his time researching and formulating IPA’s for New Belgium’s Voodoo Ranger IPA series but also branches out into different unique ingredients and styles of beer. Through his hop chemistry work, and a bit of luck, he was introduced into the world of Cannabis and has developed a passion for the possibilities the plant holds. He was the architect of the first nationally distributed Hemp Beer, the Hemperor, and is currently working on a book about Cannabis and Beer for Brewers Association Publications, due out in 2021. Ross’s work has been featured in the Washington Post, Rolling Stone Magazine, Men’s Journal, Westword, and many others. Ross lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with his wife Amy.
