By Daily Cal Philanthropy
Hanna Rosin is starting an audio division for New York magazine. She was recently the co-host of NPR's podcast Invisibilia. Before doing audio she was a longtime magazine writer, and wrote mostly for the Atlantic. And even before that she worked at the Washington Post. And she wrote a couple of books, including The End of Men.
Margaret Talbot has been a staff writer for The New Yorker since 2004. She writes about social cultural and legal issues. Her stories have appeared in the New York Times Magazine, The Atlantic Monthly and The New Republic among other publications. She is the author of “The Entertainer: Movies, Magic and My Father’s Twentieth Century.”
These two gifted writers will be our guests on Daily Cal Live on Sunday, August 9 at 6 pm PDT. They will be discussing the upcoming election and the influence of gender and race has had on it. The show is free though donations to support the on-going training of journalists at The Daily Californian will be welcome.
