"Women on Wednesdays": Election 2020 - Republican Women
By au_wpi
As part of our “Women on Wednesdays” series, please join the Women & Politics Institute and American University College Republicans for a virtual conversation with American University alumna Julie Conway (BA/SPA ‘93), Executive Director of VIEW PAC and Rebecca Schuller, Advisor and Board Member of Winning for Women. WPI Executive Director Betsy Fischer Martin will facilitate the discussion.
More and more Republican women are stepping up to run for office as the party has made a concerted effort to recruit, endorse, fund and support female candidates. Central to this effort, is the growth and impact of outside spending groups singularly focused on electing Republican women to office. We will talk to two of these key super PACs about their work and get their perspective on what 2020 holds for GOP women.
