Eve Falls First: Fiona Zedde in conversation with Anondra "Kat" Williams

By Charis Books and More/Charis Circle

This event takes place on Crowdcast, Charis' virtual event platform. This event is free, but registration is required for virtual attendance.

Charis welcomes Fiona Zedde in conversation with Anondra "Kat" Williams for a discussion of Eve Falls First, a light-hearted, age-gap lesbian romance about starting over and risking it all, even when you’re both old enough to know better.

Teacher Eve Marshall has just crawled out of a bad relationship and has no plans to get twisted up in another romantic mess. Except she never counted on meeting the jaw-dropping Scarlet Hunt.

Yoga instructor Scarlet has been focused on raising her daughter since her ex-wife ditched them both to pursue her Hollywood dreams. The last thing she expects is to stumble into Eve’s adoring gaze. The teacher at her daughter’s school is too young, too cute, and far too interested, so it’d be wildly inappropriate to ask Eve to tutor her daughter. Right?

As the risk of catching feelings hangs over them, a certain sexy Hollywood ex swaggers back into Scarlet’s life, needing one hell of a favor… How much more complicated can life get?

About the Conversation Partner

Anondra "Kat" Williams is a writer, poet, radio host, and an all-around lover of words. She made her literary debut in 2011 with Black Girl Love, a collection of short stories and poetry that beautifully captures the everyday love and lives of women who love women. Since then, she has authored five more books, with her latest, Small Town Moons, bringing Black lesbian werewolves to the forefront of speculative fiction.

Beyond writing, Kat has been a powerful voice in the community. As the host of Sipping On Ink, she provided a platform for artists and writers to share their stories and creative journeys. In 2009, she founded Shades Retreat: Personal, You, an empowerment, growth, and change retreat for queer women of color that thrived for a decade.

Through her words, storytelling, and advocacy, Kat continues to inspire and uplift, weaving narratives that celebrate love, identity, and transformation. www.anondrawilliams.com
