AI & The Future of Food

By TheSpoon

Join us on March 19th for the first Food AI Co-Lab event!

Our Speakers

For our first event, we’ll hear from two experts looking into how AI will change the food system from very different perspectives:

Dr. Patrick Story, a professor of Philosophy at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo: Dr. Story is participating in a National Science Foundation-funded project analyzing the impact of automation and AI on the food system. Dr. Story will discuss early findings from this research project and how he thinks AI will impact food culture and aesthetics in the long term.

Kevin Brown, CEO of Innit: Kevin is the cofounder and CEO of Innit, a food tech technology platform company building an AI system that plugs into generative AI large language models and helps make them food “fluent” to more accurately power AI-powered food knowledge systems and services. We’ll talk to Kevin about how he is helping big food brands leverage generative AI to create deeper connections with customers and tap into new lines of business.

Host - Michael Wolf, The Spoon: Michael Wolf is the founder of The Spoon, The Smart Kitchen Summit and the Food AI Summit.

This conversation is the first in our monthly series of events from the Food AI Co-Lab, a collaboration between The Spoon and the Future Food Institute. The Food AI Co-Lab is a convening space and learning hub for bringing together the leaders building the future of food through AI.
