Gentle Reminders: Barry Lee in conversation with Millie DeChirico
By Charis Books and More/Charis Circle
Charis welcomes Barry Lee in conversation with Millie DeChirico for a celebration of Gentle Reminders Oracle Deck. This daily oracle deck by artist & writer Barry Lee is all about emotional self-care. It’s not meant to tell you what to do, but to help you connect with your own inner knowing—to gently bring you back to your own center every day, and to add a little slice of tranquility & joy to your day. No matter what’s going on, you deserve to be reminded you are worthy of love and tender moments of comfort, beauty, and whimsy.
Barry Lee is a Disabled Non-Binary Illustrator and writer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Lee’s work is colorful yet intentional, making sure that their work is filled with symbolism & thorough thought true to the projects at hand, whether that is for a client or for themself.
Millie DeChirico is a film programmer, writer, and teacher currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. Her book, TCM Underground: 50 Must-See Films from the World of Classic Cult and Late-Night Cinema, was released in October 2022 by Running Press. She is also the co-host of the weekly film podcast, I Saw What You Did, on the Exactly Right network.
