A surprising cryptographic breakthrough by Ethan Heilman, Victor Kolobov, Avihu Levy, and Andrew Poelstra shows that covenants can be enforced already today on Bitcoin, though for a hefty price.

In this STARK at Home we’ll host Ethan, Avihu and Andrew to explain what are Bitcoin covenants, debate their pros and cons, present ColliderScript-based covenants and suggested soft forks, like OP_CAT, that would dramatically reduce the cost of covenants on Bitcoin.
