"Hacking Breach Response" - Super Cyber Friday

Our topic of discussion will be “Hacking Breach Response: An hour of critical thinking about recovery, containment, and remediation after a data loss event."

Joining David Spark (@dspark), producer of CISO Series for this discussion will be:

In preparation for our discussion, think about the following:
Is an event an incident or a breach?
When the press claims it’s a breach and it’s not, how do you handle it?
What are all the items to consider? What’s the checklist of considerations and to do items?
What do you need to do first?
Is containment even possible? Do you have to start over?
What are common mistakes made?
What don’t people consider that they should?
Why is empathy critical at this time?
Contain, Eradicate, Rebuild, Restore, or Nuke it from space?
Prior proper planning prevents poor response.
