Join creators Laura Knetzger (Bug Boys), Jose Pimienta (Suncatcher), and Jeffrey Brown (Once Upon a Space-Time!/Lucy and Andy Neanderthal) as they discuss why graphic novels are the best, how they created their exciting new stories, and more!
About the speakers:
Jeffrey Brown is the author-illustrator of the New York Times bestselling Star Wars: Jedi Academy series and the Darth Vader series. He is also the author of the Lucy & Andy Neanderthal graphic novels for middle graders and the picture book My Teacher Is a Robot. Jeffrey resides in Chicago with his wife and two sons. Laura Knetzger graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2012. She has worked as a storyboard artist for Adventure Time. She lives in Seattle and makes comics about feelings. You can find her online at @LauraKnetzger.
Jose Pimienta was raised in Mexicali, Baja California, and now resides in Los Angeles, CA where they work on comics and storyboards for animation and film. Suncatcher is their debut author/illustrator graphic novel. You can find them @joepi on twitter and @thejoepi on Instagram
