boom! LIVE | How to Be a Great Male Ally

By boom! Global Network

Great male allies can help to empower women in supply chain. When we talk about bringing men along on the journey, there are of course barriers which need to be overcome to create a bigger groundswell. Female representation is improving, but what are the key areas we still need to focus on?

Join this live panel discussion, led by our host Melanie Salter, and hear from four outstanding male allies:

⭐️ Steve Harpum, Deputy Director, Supply Chain at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

⭐️ Matthew Stanbury, Head of People at Wincanton

⭐️ Stephen Spulick, VP Supply Chain Management at WMATA

⭐️ Eric Tritch, VP Supply Chain and Support Services at UChicago Medicine

We will hear about the panel's interpretation of male allyship and gain insights into how they integrate it into their everyday working lives. Topics covered will include:
  • The difference between good leadership and good allyship.
  • How to create a culture of equity when some people do not recognise that there are barriers in place for women.
  • How minority groups such as women of colour, LGTBQ+ and the disabled can be included on the allyship journey.
Don't miss this special event on 22 June at 11am EDT / 4pm BST / 5pm CEST. See you there!
