This webinar is for you if you desire to (re)learn the basics of meditation and mindfulness practice that focuses on feeling grounded and safe in your own body while also giving yourself the permission to dream big and desire epic, juicy things for your future in a low-key, zero pressure way.
As we end the first full month of 2021 with a sigh of relief, this is a safe space for us to nurture ourselves with self-compassion, self-love, and a gentle understanding that simply getting through the day intact is a cause for celebration.
Here in this grounded and anchored space, we can then allow ourselves to gently tap into our dormant desires and activate--without any accompanying pressure to DO SOMETHING NOW!!!--our longings, hopes, wishes, dreams, aspirations, goals for the future, for the life beyond the long and heavy dark tunnel of surviving as a human being in midst of a global pandemic.
And let us not forget the other ongoing assaults on our collective wellbeing that we have had to survive through: the never-ending violence of systemic racism and anti-Blackness, the multiple catastrophes of climate change, and so on.
To emphasize again: simply getting through another day is a big accomplishment.
In gardening terms, during this potent period of this new-ish year, we are simply fertilizing our inner soil and planting seeds and watering them with our intentions and attention. Zero expectations of if and when these seeds will sprout from the earth and what shapes they may take.
The harvesting and the action steps can come (much, much, much) later.
For now, we are dreaming and resting and exercising our imaginative daydreaming muscles! We are cracking our imaginations wide open and seeing what hidden visions reveal themselves when we slow down and pay attention!
We are allowing ourselves to have fantastical, wild, juicy desires while being very gentle with ourselves and releasing all punitive self-judgments of where we "should be" or what we "should be doing."
You are exactly where you need to be!
Come prepared to the webinar with writing utensils, an open mind, and ideally a comfortable place where you can sit and meditate in privacy and quiet.
Please also know that once you register for the event, you have unlimited replay access to this webinar, and this applies for both people who can attend the live event at the actual time and people who cannot make it to the exact 2-hour time frame!
