HOW TO MOVE THROUGH THE RESISTANCE OF COMPLETING YOUR CREATIVE PROJECTS AND EXPAND YOUR INNER COSMOLOGY OF IDEAS
By yumiverse
NOTE: This is a recording of a past livestream that has already been streamed, and you are purchasing access to a 2 hour recording that will be immediately available to you with unlimited replay access after you buy it.
**THIS WEBINAR WAS RECORDED LIVE IN JUNE 2021. If you are purchasing a ticket AFTER JUNE 2021, it is for access to this RECORDING, not a live workshop to future webinars.
This webinar is for you if you are a creative human who has experienced resistance and difficulties when it comes to finishing and completing a creative project. (Spoiler: this is most of us and that includes beginners as well as well-established artists with decades of experience in their craft, and everyone else in-between).
Maybe you have a habit of starting multiple projects and chasing new ideas, reveling in the initial excitement of new project energy...but then you get overwhelmed and bored and discouraged within a matter of hours, days, or weeks and abandon the project altogether because your boredom means that the project is not worth finishing. Who hasn't been there before?
Maybe you are afraid that completing the project means that you will be exposed to the scrutiny of public opinion, unambiguously exposing you to being a BAD ARTIST, and so living forever in the limbo state of not-done is a self-protective mechanism that shields you from criticism, failure, and disappointment in yourself.
Maybe you are so precious with your idea that it has to live exactly to your highest standards, and you will be ruining this One Great Idea if you release it prematurely or imperfectly because you probably will never have an idea this good again!
You are not wrong for experiencing these feelings, and only you have the discernment to know whether or not an idea is worth pursuing fully to its end or setting aside to create space for something else. That discernment is sharpened and honed over the years through the experience of doing creative work, no matter how bad or amateur you may think they are.
While this webinar does not promise that you will absolutely complete your creative project or artistic idea that you have been resisting working on, this webinar does invite in nonlinear imagination and play and self-compassion and cosmic mystery to very dry and linear idea of completion that supposedly goes straightforwardly from A to B to C. (lol!)
Most of the times, when we are experiencing creative blocks around an idea, we need to open the window of our self-isolating chambers and let in new sunlight and fresh air--metaphorically, as well as literally.
This webinar is opening the curtains and cracking open the windows to the tight, suffocating room that your incomplete idea is currently in. Can you feel the warmth creeping onto your skin and the fresh air against your skin? Ahhhhh! Living with incompletion does not have to feel bad all the time.
What if we stopped bringing such a negative charge to an "incomplete" project? What if we stopped looking at our incomplete projects as extensions of ourselves (the subconscious logic being that if our projects are incomplete, then WE are incomplete) but autonomous, energetic entities in need of your guardianship, loving attention, and care?
What would it look like if we expand our own self-imposed limitations of how and what a completed project should look like and be completed by--and expand like the cosmos to unlimited potential, possibilities beyond our wildest imagination, and fully plugged into the communal nature of creativity and being human?
We don't have to self-flagellate ourselves for not (yet) completing our creative projects and ideas.
We will be diving into guided meditation and journal prompts that will tease out the subconscious fears and anxieties that we have around completion and releasing a finished project out into the universe. Who do we need to become in order to finish our projects? Who do we need to unbecome in order to finish our projects?
Through visualization, we will tap into the energetics of our unfinished creative projects and expand our internal universe to something far more vast and beautiful and less lonely as we become aware of creativity being a shared human experience, a beautiful exchange of ideas, a relational process that brings people together.
Come prepared to the webinar with writing utensils, an open mind, and ideally a comfortable place where you can sit and meditate.
Please also know that once you register for the event, you have unlimited replay access to this webinar recording.
This webinar is open to all humans at all levels and experiences who desire to manifest more completed creative projects with ease, trust, and flow.
