Google search revenue grew 10% year over year to $50.7 billion

Despite industry concerns that AI will disrupt the traditional search model, Google's Search revenue grew 10% to $50.7 billion.

💰 Increased ad demand says a few things.

1️⃣ Google is keeping users more engaged, and advertisers are seeing higher ROI and returns, therefore dialing up their spends.

2️⃣ New ad formats (Performance max, automated bidding, etc) enable more optimized targeting, giving advertisers more value per dollar spent.

3️⃣ Search traffic is converting.  People don't pour billions into Google unless it converts.

Businesses are reaching people on the search engine, and they are willing to pay a 💲premium to show up in front of high-intent searchers.
