"Women on Wednesdays": Amb. Nikki Haley - "With All Due Respect," in conversation with Betsy Fischer Martin
By au_wpi
As part of our “Women on Wednesdays” series, please join the Women & Politics Institute for a virtual conversation with WPI Executive Director Betsy Fischer Martin and former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. and Governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley, author of the New York Times and USA Today bestseller, With All Due Respect: Defending America with Grit and Grace, “a revealing, dramatic, deeply personal book about the most significant events of our time.”
Nikki Haley’s long career in public service has taken her from the state legislature, to the governor’s mansion to floor of the United Nations. She’s governed in times of crisis, represented America’s interests, and successfully navigated tough political campaigns.
In this conversation on women in leadership, Haley will discuss holding her own in the world of domestic and international power politics, the importance of taking a principled stand even when it is unpopular, and her perspective on bringing Americans together even in a divisive political climate.
