MEET CHAD BILLMYER:
Chad Billmyer is the SVP of Product at Slickdeals. He supports the work of over 30 product managers, product designers, and lifecycle marketers. Slickdeals is the leading social platform for shopping, where 12 million shoppers post, review, and upvote shopping deals and coupons. Slickdeals ranks in the Top 100 most visited sites in the U.S. and is consistently the leading referrer of sales to major commerce outlets like Amazon, Walmart, Macy's, and startups to name a few. Slickdeals is privately held by Goldman Sachs and Hearst.
Prior to joining Slickdeals, Chad founded Panjo, a peer-to-peer marketplace catering to the members of auto, sport, and hobby enthusiast communities. Tapatalk acquired Panjo in 2017. Spark Capital, Lerer Hippeau, Mucker Capital, and The New York Times were among Panjo's investors.
Chad's first venture, founded in 2000, offers SaaS applications to financial aid offices in higher education. He founded Next Gen Web Solutions during his junior year of college. Today, the venture's software continues to help millions of college students afford higher education ambitions and the software reduces administrative burdens for financial aid administrators. Nelnet (NYSE: NNI) acquired the venture in 2005 where Chad led hallmark education planning and financing brands like Peterson's.
Outside of Slickdeals, Chad is the parent to a 7th grader. He actively mentors and invests in startups in various VC portfolios and the Brown University Entrepreneurship Program.
