In the Nation’s Capital, an international center for mainstream media and politics, we have a responsibility to rally local artists and activists to engage in the issues by “taking back the media” and empowering ourselves through streaming technologies. The Post Reality Show, hosted by Randall Packer from the underground studio bunker is Washington DC's  talk show for the arts – a plunge into the mind-numbing, reality-bending distortion of media bias. Presented via the Third Space Network, the acclaimed streaming arts channel, The Post Reality Show is intended to give DC artists an international platform to speak on the issues through live performance, spoken word, and creative dialogue. A series of Webcasts will launch in the aftermath of the upcoming fall elections, while so many urgent crises will be in the news, including: voting access, abortion rights, gun laws, racial injustice, and a threatened democracy, The post-election period will be a timely opportunity for cultural movers and shakers in the Nation’s Capital to be given an online stage for sharing their work and uniquely artistic perspectives.
