Alejandra Campos is an Associate Director of Admissions and the Director of Multicultural Recruitment at the University of Chicago, where she covers domestic and international regions. Before joining UChicago, she was an Enrollment Advisor with Pearson, where she recruited for Villanova University. Alejandra was a first-generation college student who attended Augustana College for undergrad and recently completed a Master of Arts in Public Policy at the University of Chicago – Harris School of Public Policy.

Peggy Jenkins has a BA (Sociology) and a JD from Boston University and a certificate in College Admissions Counseling from UCLA Extension. She was once a litigation partner in a large law firm and now works as an independent legal researcher.   She founded Palouse Pathways in 2013 to help address barriers to college access experience by rural and small town students She is a member of the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC) and one of the founders of NACAC’s 1300-member Rural and Small Town Special Interest Group.   She's served on the Common App Advisory Board and currently serves on the Coalition Counselor Advisory Committee, University of Chicago Access Partners Committee, Bryn Mawr College Presidential Advisory Group and Washington University in St. Louis Counselor Advisory Board.

As MITES’ Student Success and Wellbeing Administrator, Sara Colón works to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for all students and to provide key skills and tools for their academic success in MITES’ rigorous in-person and online programs and beyond. She supports students by consulting with staff, creating programming related to MESH and college readiness, and meeting individually with participants and recent alumni on personal and academic issues.  Before joining MITES, Sara, who has trained as a school (guidance) counselor and English teacher, served diverse 5th through 12th grade students and their families in leadership, instructional, operational, and support roles for over 15 years.
