– with Emma Beswick and Dr Jill Crowfoot

Join Dr Jill Crowfoot and Emma Beswick to explore the life cycle of progesterone – its biosynthesis (endogenous progesterone), effects, rhythms and clearance ('detoxification') – and understand how and why women respond to progesterone so differently.

You'll learn about some of the most clinically important genes involved in progesterone metabolism, the impact of genetic variants, and, most importantly, what can be done to support them.

Guest presenter Dr Jill will discuss different forms of progesterone therapy and how nutrigenetic testing can enable informed choices and personalised approaches to health during perimenopause and menopause.

Dr Jill has worked within the NHS as a GP for 30 years, and has a special interest in women's health, especially menopause care.

Throughout her career, Dr Jill has always been keen to explore the root causes of health conditions, rather than focusing on an illness and its symptoms in isolation – one size doesn't fit all when it comes to health. Drawing on her extensive experience in women's health, Dr Jill created Renude Health to explore the underlying causes of health concerns and to promote a holistic approach to optimisation.
