Support for psychedelic-induced crises is the subject of debate in different contexts – from psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to harm reduction actions in the context of parties. In the latter case, crisis support definitions and models foster different readings of what crises are and how to provide the best forms of support. What is a psychedelic-induced crisis and what could catalyze the emergence of psychedelic crises? What are the main forms of support for psychedelic-induced crises currently adopted by harm reduction groups? Is it possible to think of alternatives to those forms of support? What are the contributions of Brazilian research and practices? Among the main support models, “talking down” and “talking through” stand out. Brazilian models and contributions will be discussed, such as a support protocol for psychedelic crises (PROSC) and the so-called “talking with” model. We hope you can join us in this forum with Sandro Rodrigues, who has a PhD in psychology, is an independent musician, and co-founder and member of the board of directors of Brazilian Psychedelic Association, and Fernando Rocha Beserra, who has a MA and PhD in clinical psychology at the PUC-SP, and is a co-founder and actual coordinator of Brazilian Psychedelic Association.
