Pastoring the Small Church Through Social, Political, and Cultural Conflict

By Turnaround Pastors

Pastors today are facing issues they've never encountered before.
Most churches in post-Covid America are seeing people return, but pastors are finding that new problems are accompanying the increased attendance. Recent research has shown that about 75% of American churches are struggling with internal conflict over the same social, political, and cultural issues that have captured our national attention.
Few, if any, church leaders have been trained or equipped to deal with these problems.

This month's guest speaker, Karl Vaters, has addressed these issues in his book, The Church Recovery Guide: How Your Congregation Can Adapt and Thrive After a Crisis. Karl will be discussing ways that small church pastors, who are already struggling with discouragement and feelings of being overwhelmed, can navigate their congregations through these treacherous waters and arrive on that fair shore intact.
