Skills and Checklists for a Thriving Practice

You deserve a thriving practice filled with clients who trust you and value homeopathy.

As homeopaths, we have a tendency to undervalue our time and energy because we want to help people.

We can also find it hard to set boundaries, which undermines our own well-being and peace of mind. Does this sound familiar?
When I started training as a homeopath I thought that everyone I worked with would feel the same way about homeopathy as me.

I thought if I just share how much it had helped me, that would be enough to 'convert' people and soon I would have a thriving practice.

I took it for granted that my clients would trust me, respect my boundaries, and see their homeopathy treatment as an ongoing process.

I found the reality of my first few years in practice to be quite different.

Client management issues when I started out:
  • it wasn't easy to find people interested in homeopathy
  • often people would only come once or twice and I didn't know why
  • rearrangements and cancellations were stressful
  • I wasn't earning as much as I hoped from my new career
  • everything was much harder than I thought it would be
Client management issues when I got busy:
  • I had lots of discovery calls but not everyone would book
  • increased emails and messages were time-consuming
  • my boundaries could get pushed by long-term clients
  • I was earning more but felt under pressure to maintain it
  • work-life balance for myself was an ongoing challenge
Client management or client retention, or both?

In this webinar, I hope to make your journey easier by sharing what I've learned, whether you are just starting out or more established and refining your practice.

As my practice has evolved, my client management has been through 3 phases of growth, each building on the other.
  1. Initially, I focused on avoiding cancellations and keeping people coming back.
  2. Later, I focused on systems for payments and communication to support my work-life balance.
  3. Now, I focus on attracting and retaining ideal clients and letting go of the rest.
Some of the things I've learned on my journey:
  • 6 client archetypes that help me adapt my communication
  • 4 client behaviour types that help me predict situations
  • strategies to manage people with anxiety/neurodiversity
  • what needs to be on the FAQ page
  • what needs to be on the Consent form
  • questions to ask during the Discovery Call
  • importance of 'red flags' and when to refer on
  • ethical 'grey areas' to avoid
  • what to say to clients who are new to homeopathy
  • what to say to clients who have tried homeopathy before
  • how to structure the first appointment
  • how to structure a follow-up
  • when to offer a check-in call
  • what to do when there is a 'plateau'
  • how to use email to communicate well
  • how to handle rearrangements and cancellations
  • how to handle late payments
  • when to offer discounts or packages

I'm excited to teach on this topic as I believe it is important for homeopaths to be able to help people without undermining their own time and energy.

We offer and give a valuable service and we deserve to work with people who trust us and value homeopathy.

There is a clear set of notes available in advance for printing.

This includes templates, examples of emails and forms for the systems I share with you.
