Raising Confident Kids: How to Talk About Climate Change

By TPL Kids

Join science communicator and author Rachel Salt in this session all about climate change. Talking about climate change with your kids can feel tough. It’s natural to want to protect children from harm and worry. But chances are your kids are already thinking about climate change and that can come with big emotions. During this workshop, we will discuss:
  • age-appropriate ways to talk about climate change.
  • tips for navigating eco-anxiety.
  • ideas to help empower your family to take action.
  • Bonus! Explore connections between climate change and plastic pollution. Talking about waste can be a great entry point to environmental discussions.
This program is part of the Raising Confident Kids: Workshops for Parents series.
