The Cannabis Crisis Committee invites all cannabis stakeholders to an emergency online meeting to chart the way forward in the face of the collapse of Section 21, and no legitimate access pathways for general adult-use.

The Cannabis Crisis Committee with the support of Cannabiz Africa invites stakeholders to an online meeting on Monday, 2 November 2026.  The purpose of the meeting is to craft a sector response to the crisis that is unfolding in front of us.  The key focus is to persuade SAHPRA to clarify the regulatory pathway for medical cannabis access since it halted the approval of all Section 21 authorisations without providing any alternative. The CCC’s approach is that regulatory clarity is urgently required for both medical and general adult use in order for the sector to move forward.   Presenters to be announced.
