By Musicians' Union

Unlisted
The Musician’s Union is delighted to welcome PPL for an informative event for our members in Scotland and Northern Ireland on getting your music correctly registered.

On this lunchtime session learn the ins and outs of the process, from selecting the right recordings to navigating the registration forms.
This session will cover:
  • What is music metadata and why it is important
  • Mandatory data required for registering a recording with PPL
  • How to register a recording step by step
  • What we mean by a recording being ‘valid’
  • How to amend your recording information
PPL’s Relationship Manager George Prince will guide you through the steps to ensure your repertoire is properly registered.

There will be time for questions after the presentation, this will be managed via the chat box or can be emailed in advance to [email protected].

The MU makes every effort to ensure that all events we organise are accessible to everyone who would like to attend. We want to provide equal access to our events for all of our members. If you have any access requirements you would like us to be aware of, please contact (name of person) on (telephone number) or via email: (email address) at least 1 week ahead of the event to discuss what you need.
