In this virtual master class, acclaimed Bay Area-based guitarist Hristo Vitchev will be sharing multiple concepts and ideas from his specialized harmonic and melodic style and approach to jazz guitar. Some of the major topics that will be discussed are: fretboard logic and conceptualization, harmonic development and substitution, creating modern melodic lines, and the geometry of harmonic and melodic tension in jazz improvisation. This master class will be moderated by guitarist and educator Brian Fitzgerald.
