House Bill 1545, adopted by the Texas Legislature in 2019, made dramatic changes to the Alcoholic Beverage Code. Now, the TABC must adopt rules to implement most of those changes. In the biennium between last legislative session and the next, the TABC will amend or adopt dozens of new rules covering application processing, label approval, license and permit fees, consumer delivery of alcoholic beverages, and many other important topics.
