A Conversation with Gail Collins

In partnership with Learning Grove, we are proud to host New York Times columnist Gail Collins in conversation with John Faherty.
The evening promises to cover the Collins’ books on Women’s history, the current state of journalism, current events, William Henry Harrison, as well as the opportunity to learn about the mission of Learning Grove.
This program is FREE and open to the public.
Cincinnati native, Gail Collins is a columnist for the New York Times. From 2001-2007 she was editorial page editor of the paper--the first woman to have held that position. She is the author of several books on women's history including When Everything Changed and her most recent, No Stopping Us Now: The Adventures of Older Women in American History. Collins delivered the Library’s Harriet Beecher Stowe Lecture in 2004.
Mercantile Library Executive Director John Faherty was a journalist for 25 years before he became a Librarian.
About Learning Grove:
In January 2020, Cincinnati Early Learning Centers and Children, Inc., united to become Learning Grove. They serve a racially and socioeconomically diverse population of nearly 7,000 children, youth, and families annually with programs across Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio.
