Abstract: Quality Processes in an Agile Environment
In 1982, W. Edward Deming identified 14 key principles for business effectiveness. These principles are alive and well in effective agile teams and organization.
It is important that the “whole team” buys into practices such as Acceptance Test Driven Development and understands that testing is an activity that happens throughout development from the very beginning and not a phase at the end. While testing is a large part of any quality program, it is not the only thing.
Janet and Lisa explore some of the practices that support those Deming’s quality principles and help to build quality into both your product and your processes.
