Andre Veloux: Studio Tour and Workshop

By Princeton Public Library

Join us for a special National Library Week event as artist Andre Veloux opens the doors to his studio in Princeton for a virtual tour. See the space where he makes LEGO magic happen in creating his unique art that includes portraits of icons such as Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Lady Gaga and many others.
Once the tour is finished, Andre will talk about his outreach to encourage children to use LEGO to create their own art. He has set up a special Kids Art page that includes a gallery of work submitted by kids and a set of templates to encourage their creativity.
He will be joined by his daughter and together they will demonstrate how to complete a project or two from the templates on his site.
