Learn to Make Boho Braided Wrap Bracelets with Christina Bengtson
By Everett Public Library
Create this popular, easy to make and wear wrap bracelet with minimal tools and supplies. It works up quickly and lends itself to many variations which will be demonstrated in class. A great “take along project” that fits easily in a small container. These make great gifts! Learn the basic technique while creating your own single wrap in class. Kits include tools and materials for making both a single and double wrap bracelet. Sign up here for a kit beginning October 21st. ALL KITS ARE RESERVED.
If you receive a kit, please have a pair of scissors and a basic clipboard.
You can still join without a kit. You will need these supplies:
MATERIALS FOR A DOUBLE WRAP
(3) 3mmx3mm crimp tubes
4 yards of 1mm or 1.5 mm waxed cord (or any other cord that fits through your bead hole)
1 vial of size 6 seed beads (Japanese are more consistent, have larger holes and are easier to string but any that fit your cord will work)
A button with a hole or shank large enough to fit your cording x3 (3 times though)
Sharp scissors
Chain nose pliers (smooth and flat inside jaws)
* Optional
basic clip board, knotting tweezers, sharpie pen
Supplementary instructions to be used while viewing the program can be found here.
