Cathi Stoler is a best-selling author. Her Murder On The Rocks Series features The Corner Lounge owner, Jude Dillane, and includes BAR NONE, LAST CALL, Silver Falchion Best Suspense Novel finalist, and STRAIGHT UP, published by Level Best Books. She’s also written the suspense novels, NICK OF TIME and OUT OF TIME and the Laurel and Helen New York Mysteries. She is a three-time finalist and winner of the Derringer Award for Best Short Story. Cathi is a member of Sisters in Crime New York/Tri-State, Mystery Writers of America, and International Thriller Writers. She lives in New York City with her husband Paul. Brooklyn-born Lori Robbins began dancing at age sixteen and launched her professional career three years later. She performed with a number of modern dance and ballet companies, including Ballet Hispanico, the St. Louis Concert Ballet, and the Des Moines Ballet. The opening work in her On Pointe Mystery series, Murder in First Position, won the Indie Book Award for Best Mystery, was a finalist for a Silver Falchion, and is on the short list for the Mystery and Mayhem Book Awards. Murder in Second Position was released on November 23rd . Her debut novel, Lesson Plan for Murder, won the Silver Falchion Award for Best Cozy Mystery and was a finalist in the Indie Book Awards. It will be re-released by Level Best Books in June 2022 as part of a new Master Class Mystery series. Short stories include “Accidents Happen” in Murder Most Diabolical, and “Leading Ladies” in Justice for All. She is an expert in the homicidal impulses everyday life inspires. Robbins is a member of the New York chapter of Sisters in Crime, as well as a member of Mystery Writers of America and International Thriller Writers.
