The Typography Dojo is a place where we come together to explore the techniques in the practice of type and typography with training from design Sensei. Join us to learn from the masters.

The amount of advice any young designer encounters in the first few years of their professional career is overwhelming. James will relay only the savoriest nuggets of wisdom that have traversed his ear canals in the past few years while transitioning from student, to working professional, to running a small business.

James Edmondson is a lettering artist and independent type designer based in San Francisco designing typefaces for his foundry OHNO Type Co. James was named among Print Magazine's New Visual Artists in 2013, and Typographica included Mission Script on their list of Typefaces of 2012.
