Educator Event Featuring Kimberly Brubaker Bradley and Meg Medina

By bbgb books

We will share new 2020 and 2021 titles with a focus on books that support diversifying your collection, with a special appearance by our Penguin Random House Representative. We'll have updates on our virtual book fairs and virtual author visits available for the Fall.
The real star of our event is the conversation between award-winning authors Kimberly Brubaker Bradley and Meg Medina. Kimberly's new book Fighting Words takes on a tough topic in a way that is candid and compassionate, funny and difficult.
Meg's experience with writing challenging content will make this an insightful and timely discussion. Meg will also preview her new picture book, Evelyn Del Rey is Moving Away, out Sept. 8.
Raffles are always a big part of our events. With huge thanks to the author, our grand prize is a virtual school event with Kimberly Brubaker Bradley!
Your $20 registration fee provides you a signed copy of your choice of Fighting Words (ages 9-13) or Evelyn Del Rey is Moving Away (ages 5-7) mailed to you. All registrants will also be entered into our raffle and will receive a collection of downloadable assets from our publishing partners. At the conclusion of the event we will have the complete list of books we talked about available on our website, bbgbbooks.com.
Should the registration fee prohibit you from joining us, please email [email protected].
