Evictions 101: What's Legal, What's Not and Your Rights as a Tenant
By TPL Teens
Ontario landlords can only evict you under certain circumstances. Is your landlord threatening eviction? Did you receive a letter from your landlord saying they want to evict you, but you don't know if that's legitimate? Did you receive an N4, N5, N12, or N13, and you aren't sure what that means?
Join us for a virtual workshop where we explain the only reasons a landlord can evict a residential tenant, what that process looks like, and how you can participate. This program for younger adults will be led by Toronto tenant lawyer Tamar Friedman and Litigation Help.
