Over a decade ago, the Conservative government recognized the value of investing stimulus dollars in infrastructure development. As our attention again shifts to economic recovery, infrastructure will once again play a key role in rebuilding our communities.

On Thursday, May 14th, ReNew Canada and Global Public Affairs are teaming up for a discussion on how best to target infrastructure investments in 2020. This fully-interactive conversation will answer key questions that must be answered before stimulus dollars begin to flow to communities, including:

What were the lessons from previous economic downturns and the processes used that could help target investment this time?

What type of projects governments should we invest in to get a quick stimulus but will also drive a lasting legacy?

How will regional dynamics shape the type of projects funded?

What are the big ongoing challenges stimulus funding should look to address (e.g. housing, climate change, indigenous reconciliation)?
