With the world moving towards low carbon technologies, renewable heating systems are more important than ever. The launch of the NIBE Pro training scheme, follows the Government’s latest pledge for 600,000 heat pumps to be installed per year by 2028.

With just 27,000 heat pumps installed into homes in 2018, there is a significant amount of work to be done across the next decade to prepare the work force to deliver on this target. As the phase out of fossil fuels begins, heating installers up and down the country will need to gain the knowledge and skills needed to recommend and install heat pumps in UK homes.
