This year, clients will start to receive a full statement  breaking down what they've been charged, and guess what? Platforms are taking different approaches - something Paraplanners and financial advisers alike need to understand and think through the implications for their business and client communications.

Joining us for this Howwow is the lang cat  - who have carried out research with a number of platforms to get detail on their approach. Together, we'll look at:

Discuss the level of control for adviser/paraplanner to determine when statements are run and sent

What content is in them and how is it presented (we'll be looking at some real examples)

What happens if a client has assets on different platforms

What the press are likely to say about it

We'll be joined by Mike Barrett of the lang cat to explore and discuss the implications. Plus giving the paraplanner perspective are Powwow regulars Richard Allum and Benjamin Fabi.

Sorry about that. We're just confirming the topics and putting together an A-Team panel for it. We do aim for every last Wednesday of the month, at lunchtime (1-2pm for most normal folk), so you can join in while eating your sandwich.

Powwows vs Howwows - what's the difference?

Here's the Powwow lingo.  Powwows are informal gatherings designed by paraplanners for paraplanners to exchange views, learn things, fix things and share things.
