Realm Makers is excited to welcome back Thomas Locke in the role of keynote speaker.

Thomas Locke is the pseudonym for Davis Bunn, an award-winning novelist with total world-wide sales of eight million copies.

His work has been published in twenty languages, and critical acclaim includes four Christy Awards for excellence in fiction and his 2014 induction into the Christy Hall of Fame.

Thomas divides his time between Florida and England, where he serves as Writer In Residence at Regent’s Park College, the University of Oxford. He holds a lifelong passion for epic fantasy, science fiction and techno-thriller stories.

Six years ago, Thomas decided to begin seriously working on the lifelong dream of becoming involved in writing for film/television/streaming.  He completed work on screenwriting at the British Film Industry, and started writing a minimum of one new spec script each year – in addition to his book projects. Last year he signed with a film agent and he has many irons int he fire in Hollywood. Most notably, David Lipman, producer of the Shrek film series and co-producer of the Ironman films, has optioned one of Davis’s feature spec scripts entitled Island of Time.

This recent experience will allow Thomas to bring invaluable perspective to attendees hoping to learn about both the novel and screenwriting worlds.

Thomas will be teaching on The Nuts and Bolts of Screenwriting in his Continuing Session this year.
