Know Your Rights! Estate and Will Planning During COVID-19
By TPL Teens
If the pandemic has taught us one thing, it's to look two steps ahead. Planning for your future sounds scary, but estate planning doesn't have to be dark and depressing. It's one of the most important things you can do to protect yourself and your loved ones. If you're an aspiring entrepreneur, hustler, corporate 9-5er or freelancer -- creating a plan to protect your future assets and family is something we should all think about.
Join us online to learn more about the different documents that should be in your estate plan and how to get estate documents witnessed and signed, especially under the new electronic signing rules brought in by the Ontario Government. COVID-19 situations, such as virtual witnessing of documents during social distancing, will also be discussed. This program for younger adults will be presented by Sam Michaels of SM Legal and Litigation Help.
