Literally Crawling is an online lit crawl created by zines + things and Death Rattle Writers Fest. Literally Crawling began in 2020 when our organizations wanted to collaborate in the midst of the quarantine. Since we all missed that unique feeling of in-person lit events, and wanted to do something special that brought people together, and Literally Crawling was born.

This year, we're expanding that by bringing on Ginger Bug Press, who zine+ things will be hosting a show with, and Cobra Milk, who the folks at Death Rattle will be partnering with. Each of the four reading events will be "zipper shows," with each organization curating half of the lineup. Basically, we're showing off our cool friends to them, and they're showing off their cool friends to us. This year's programming will feature over 40 performers sharing prose, poetry, and comics.

Literally Crawling 2.0 expands our programming and is adding a workshop! On Sunday, November 7,  Mara Ramirez of FREAK COMICS will be hosting MIND MAPPING,  a workshop focused on using our sketchbooks as a daily devotion of personal storytelling. Saturday, November 6th - 4:00 PM (PT)/7:00 PM (ET): zines + things with Ginger Bug Press

Saturday, November 6th -  6:00 PM (PT)/9:00 PM (ET): Death Rattle Writers Fest with Cobra Milk

Sunday, November 7th - 3:30 PM (PT)/6:30 PM (ET): MIND MAPPING Workshop w/ Mara Ramierz of FREAK COMICS

Sunday, November 7th - 5PM (PT)/8 PM (ET): zines + things with Death Rattle Writers Fest

Tickets are offered on a sliding scale - no one will be turned away. However, a $7 - $14 donation is suggested to help support the programmers and artists performing. If you can, please consider donating. Attendees will have an opportunity to tip performers during the show as well.
