Join Tucson Festival of Books for an exclusive conversation with award-winning author and editor at Marvel Comics, Danny Fingeroth and graphic memoir author Henry Barajas. This discussion will be moderated by The Arizona Daily Star's David Fitzsimmons. Fingeroth's new book is "A Marvelous Life: The Amazing Story of Stan Lee."
Danny Fingeroth is a highly-regarded pop culture critic and historian, he is the author of acclaimed books including "Superman on the Couch: What Superheroes Really Tell Us About Ourselves and Our Society" and co-editor of The Stan Lee Universe, an annotated collection of rarities from Lee’s personal archives. Fingeroth worked with Lee on numerous projects and conducted original, in-depth interviews with him (and many others) in the course of researching A Marvelous Life.
Henry Barajas is a Latinx author from Tucson. He is best known for his graphic memoir about his great-grandfather Ramon Jaurigue, titled "La Voz De M.A.Y.O. Tata Rambo." He currently works in L.A. at Top Cow.
David Fitzsimmons is a cartoonist, humor columnist and blogger for the Arizona Daily Star. Fitz is syndicated to more than 700 news publications. A Pulitzer finalist in 1988, his award-winning cartoons have drawn both fire and praise.
