Women in Tech – Climbing the ladder through mentorship
By Green Tech South West
As you may be aware, our last MotherBoard event focused on mentorship - specifically, who would make a good mentor, where to find one and how to get the best out of the programme. For our 2nd event of 2022 we will be hosting a great part 2 meetup which concentrates more on the journey of mentorship and how your relationships will evolve as your career progresses.
We will discuss the four stages of mentorship - preparation, negotiation, enabling growth and closure. Will will explain why its important to understand these stages and how to identify when its time to move on to the next step.
We will be speaking with:
Carter Davidson - President, Americas & EMEA - AgriWebb
Shallu Behar-Sheehan - Vice President | Group Marketing & Chief of Staff to Group CMO & EVP - Capgemini
Alexandra Petrova - Marketing Manager UK & Ireland Fluido, an Infosys company
This is an online event, hosted on CrowdCast. We can’t wait to see you there!

< MotherBoard is a community that has been created to drive positive change throughout the UK Technology and Data sectors. Creating environments that support the inclusion of working mothers offers a significant solution to the shortage of talent across the Technology and Data sectors. We’re here to educate, challenge, and create that shift. We’re not here to berate, we’re here to connect, embrace and champion positive change-makers.
Our community is open to all. Mothers working in tech, organisations who are up-skilling returners back into work as well as employers that are consciously looking to create inclusive programmes to attract mothers into their Technology and Data teams. We actively encourage females, males, and non-binary folk to join us and to get involved. >
