Wow, these conversations are powerful! Last week we had hundreds join in on the conversation about the moral distress being experienced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The conversation was so rich and valuable we are offering a second opportunity to unpack and grapple with these challenging topics.
Join the community in the conversation on moral distress with with further exploration of the concept of ‘the edge’ and returning guest Dr. Jeffery Ring helping answer questions from the community in real time.

In the face of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Drs. Tina Runyan and Joan Fleishman are creating a space for health care providers to come together, share their stories and find support in a community of their peers.
Together the community will revisit:
  • Defining and naming moral distress, outrage, and apathy
  • Exploring empathy and empathetic distress
  • Making resource allocation decisions
  • Caring for colleagues & friends with the virus
  • Watching patients struggle and die without family present
  • Practicing compassion in action
