Writers Live: Romance in the Pacific Northwest
By Everett Public Library
Cozy fires, big leaf maple leaves fluttering to the ground, and a fresh pot of coffee--the Pacific Northwest is the perfect setting for romance. Join authors Brooke Borroughs, Jennifer Bardsley, and Addie Woolridge for a chat about how living in Western Washington influenced their writing.
Jennifer Bardsley, the “I Brake for Moms” columnist for the Daily Herald, lives in Edmonds and is the author of “Sweet Bliss” and “Good Catch,” set in the fictional town of Harper Landing.
Brooke Burroughs is an award winning writer of fun love stories about women with a heart for adventure. "The Marriage Code", which is partly set in the IT industry of Seattle, is inspired by meeting her husband on one of her own real life adventures living in India
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Addie Woolridge is a classically trained opera singer, marathon runner, and coffee enthusiast. Her most recent releases, "The Checklist" and "The Bounce Back" are both set in Seattle.
