Intel SGX is one of the trust bases of the Phala system, thus its security is of great concern to users and developers. In Tech Talk 01, Dr. Shelven has briefly introduced the mechanism of the Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). In talk 04, he is going to discuss the security of Intel SGX, especially on the two well-known vulnerabilities: Spectre and Meltdown. You’ll understand the details of such vulnerabilities and how Phala designs to mitigate the attacks toward the overall environment.
