This 90-minute webinar will cover the neurophysiological and psychophysiological components of trauma and the trauma response and how they pertain to Brainspotting. Electroencephalographic (EEG) and psychophysiological activity of the four components of trauma (hypervigilance, constriction, dissociation and helplessness) will be presented as well as changes in brain activity after a brainspotting session. Other key concepts to be discussed include: coherence, nesting and coupling, amplitude and frequency.
