The PIE Webinar: Virtual reality teaching
By The PIE
Come along to our webinar to learn more about the opportunities offered by Virtual Reality delivery in English language teaching!
Expand your opportunity to reach learners, and consider tapping into a whole new student profile by advocating the efficacy but also the interactivity of the VR learning environment.
Hear from Sara Davila, Immerse's Head of Efficacy and Learning on the How and Why it works - Sara's track record is an English language specialist formerly at Pearson and the US Department of State.
She will be joined by Christian Rowe, co-founder of VR platform Immerse, who will share case studies of education institutions who have already trialled VR offerings and explain how the Immerse platform works with school partners.
Emma Wiessburg, former English teacher and academic manager at EF Japan, will share her experiences learning how to teach English in VR for the first time.
And Lisa James from EC will share her insight as an ELT provider, a trained linguist and newfound tech evangelist on why she believes VR could be a real disruptor in the English language teaching space.
