Join us for a discussion on the role of funding in AI governance with Ana Brandusescu and Innovator in Resident Migan Megardichian.
Ana Brandusescu is a researcher, advisor, and facilitator who works on a more publicly accountable use of data and technology. Currently, as the 2019-21 McConnell Professor of Practice at McGill University’s Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Montreal, Ana is examining public investments in artificial intelligence (AI) across Canada and in Montreal to better understand the socio-economic implications of these technologies. Ana is co-leading “AI for the Rest of Us”, a research project to develop a new model of public (civic) engagement in government decision making processes that are being automated with AI.
